We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone that visited the Exploring Abandoned Mines Museum and joined us for thrilling Yankee Boy Mine tours this year! We will be closed as of October 15th 2024.

So.. who is Exploring Abandoned Mines? We are Frank Schlichting and Sharon Colonna from Grand Forks British Columbia, Canada. We explore abandoned mines around the world, from Canada the United States and Mexico.
Join us for our weekly adventures as we go deep underground into historic abandoned mines. You can also come along for the ride as we bring back to life our very own 100 year old GOLD MINE!
We relive the Prospecting and Gold Rush days, going back in history with every expedition. Visiting abandoned and forgotten places, climbing down dangerous mine shafts, and finding antique mining treasures.
